Job Description

The University of Nevada, Reno, Advancement division is recruiting for an E-Business Application Specialist. The E-Business Application Specialist supports, tests and assists with the installation of third party Donor Management Software application systems including but not limited to: The Raiser's Edge, Financial Edge, Papersave, Endowment Manager and Campaign Enterprise. The E-Business Application Specialist also ensures that Development and Alumni Relation's web content is presented in an accessible format to meet The Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights requirements. The ideal candidate is also responsible for Development and Alumni Relations email campaign coordination, scheduling, design, testing and delivery.

Assistant E-Business Application Specialist

The Assistant E-Business Application Specialist position is considered an entry-level position for individuals with experience in an enterprise or university computing environment running email campaigns or supporting third party applications. The individual is responsible for DAR email campaigns and will provide support and testing for other 3rd party applications used by the division and provides consultation, training and remediation of inaccessible documents, emails and web content. An Assistant E-Business Application Specialist works under the guidance of a Computer Systems Administrator with the goal of gaining experience with best practices for third party application support and testing, accessibility remediation, faculty/staff interaction, and customer service.

E-Business Application Specialist

The E-Business Application Specialist position works independently and performs third party application support and testing, determines best practices and develops insights and recommendations for current operations or issues. This individual is the lead on all mass email campaigns and related projects and the lead on DAR accessibility efforts across all platforms. The E-Business Application Specialist may mentor or supervise other positions and works closely with The Senior Computer Systems Administrator and Director.

Candidates will be selected for interviews at the level their professional experiences meet the requirements.

Required Qualifications

Assistant E-Business Application Specialist:

Bachelor's Degree and one (1) year of related work experience; OR

Master's Degree no work experience required.

Related Experience: Experience with mass email, web and document accessibility testing and remediation, or large third party enterprise level computer applications or related experience.

E-Business Application Specialist:

Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of related work experience; OR

Master's Degree and one (1) year of related work experience.

Related Experience: Experience with mass email, web and document accessibility testing and remediation, or large third party enterprise level computer applications or related experience.

E-Business Application Specialist - Compensation Grade B

Grants-in-aid for Faculty Employees
