Role Overview:

The Principal Technical Consultant serves as a key technical authority and subject matter expert within our network of partners, clients, and service providers, particularly in the domains of Modern Applications and Platform Engineering. This role involves leading a consulting team in the design, development, and implementation of client solutions, while also mentoring team members and managing their professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver projects punctually while maintaining exceptional quality standards and surpassing client expectations.
  • Design and execute intricate, mission-critical technical solutions tailored for enterprise clients.
  • Foster robust client relationships, drive business expansion, and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Create high-quality deliverables and presentations for client engineering teams and senior management, encompassing both technical and non-technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify their technical challenges and devise customized solutions.
  • Present solution designs and innovative ideas to clients' senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain Technical Roadmaps and Innovation Plans.
  • Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) solutions.
  • Establish project timelines and estimates, identify risks, and oversee the development and delivery of technical solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members, empowering them to excel in their roles.
  • Lead collaborative efforts within our technical communities.
Qualifications
  • Proven ability to engage with clients and develop solutions to meet business and technology objectives.
  • Strong consulting skills and business insight.
  • Over 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in Cloud, DevOps, Automation, and Digital Transformation.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Pro, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, and Terraform Associate.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and implementing core Platform services including Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security.
  • Experience in driving organizational adoption of transformational initiatives such as Platform Engineering and Cloud Transformation.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience with deployment services such as GitHub and Jenkins, including knowledge of branching strategies.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java or Python.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with modern cloud-native application design principles and CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Understanding of enterprise organizations across various industries and IT functions.
