Your Responsibilities on a Typical Day:

  • Gather and document requirements for new initiatives, including current state assessments, future state projections, and gap analyses.
  • Assist fellow project managers by coordinating meetings, taking project notes, updating project timelines, and disseminating information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Offer analytical, troubleshooting, training, or escalation support for new initiatives or projects.
  • Evaluate completed projects to assess account health, review key performance indicators, and compare operational assumptions against planned outcomes.
  • Engage in discussions with the Operations Support team to ensure global alignment across various technical and operational projects.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and other departments to foster collaboration.
  • Support the completion of tasks necessary for project closure.
  • Manage, track, and oversee purchase orders and invoices related to project budgets.
  • Archive projects that are closed or inactive for an extended period.

Qualifications for Success at GXO:

To be considered, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently.
  • A keen attention to detail with the capability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivation and a desire to learn.
  • Effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • The willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

It would be advantageous if you also possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Logistics or Transportation.
  • At least one year of experience in operations or project management.
  • Experience in engineering or a business-related field.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project or a similar project management tool.
  • Exposure to Power BI.
