What is the Opportunity?
Collaborate closely with various functional areas to enhance business performance management, enable analytics, drive growth strategies, improve processes, reduce costs, implement technology, and transform the enterprise in relation to Operational Resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a comprehensive program focused on Operational Resilience, concentrating on business transformation strategy, roadmap development, and implementation.
- Formulate business plans and conduct cost-benefit analyses for review by Senior Leadership.
- Monitor and escalate issues and risks, ensuring effective mitigation and resolution while driving holistic transformational change across diverse projects.
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects under the Operational Resilience initiative, delivering successful implementations for business partners.
- Develop business cases to support significant capital projects.
- Manage a large-scale program across various business lines, working in collaboration with Senior Level Executives to achieve deliverable targets.
- Maintain the Program resource plan and provide Executive-level reporting to clearly communicate program status, issues, risks, and timelines.
- Facilitate and drive critical decisions from Executive leadership as necessary.
- Build strong working relationships with clients and business partners to ensure alignment of business plans with departmental and organizational goals.
- Support and effectively communicate program goals, objectives, vision, and values.
- Proactively identify, plan, and act on improvement opportunities, assisting teams in overcoming resistance to change.
- Develop and maintain a Communication Plan with key business stakeholders.
- Lead weekly status meetings with the core team and Steering Committee.
- Manage a team of direct reports, including coaching, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing large, complex projects and programs.
- At least 5 years of technical experience utilizing analytics to address business challenges and monitor risks.
- 5 years of experience managing a team of direct reports.
- 3-5 years of experience in Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, or Risk Management.
- Experience in the financial industry and working with regulators.
Preferred Skills:
- Master's Degree and 5 to 7+ years of experience managing large, complex projects across multiple business lines.
- 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years focused on business project management.
- Proven success in strategic planning, program management, and business architecture methodologies.
- 5-7+ years of management consulting or advisory services experience managing large-scale projects or strategy engagements.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to balance daily tactical needs with long-term strategic improvement efforts.
- Capacity to make decisions in ambiguous environments.
Compensation:
Starting base salary: $122,535 - $208,715 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
