POSITION SUMMARY

The Audio Visual (A/V) Technician is responsible for setting up, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing of all company video and sound equipment.

The A/V Technician is charged with providing exceptional service and support for all end user issues, and is required to work onsite. Flexibility to work outside of standard work hours during nights and weekends, is required.

The successful candidate will think independently while working within the specified guidelines with minimal supervision. This full-time position offers and excellent salary and is eligible for comprehensive benefits to include medical, dental, vision and 401(k).

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • General knowledge and understanding of a broad variety of video and sound equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve all related hardware and software issues related to the audio-visual inventory and assets
  • Ability to perform install, update and renew/replace AV technology as recommended
  • Ability to proactively maintain and troubleshoot systems onsite and remotely

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years in professional technical audio/visual service and support roles
  • High school or equivalent experience required; college-degree preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability to work standard and non-standard hours as needed
  • Ability to think creatively to resolve a variety of service and support requests
  • Highly organized and solution-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated support and service provider who seeks to exceed expectations
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point; Zoom/Teams
