A Senior Specialist, Project Cost Control is responsible for
assisting the Project Team in change management, financial
analysis and reporting functions necessary to establish both
current costs and forecasting for projects. The Cost Analyst
will participate in daily activities relating to cost and
accounting functions that are necessary for a positive
financial outcome.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities
  • Assists the Project team in financial analysis, budgeting
    and reporting for the project, including the preparation of
    monthly reports
  • Reviews monthly subcontractor payments, owner billings, and
    participates in the creation and tracking of change
    orders
  • Assists in preparing cost, time and labor estimates,
    equipment and material projections, and productivity trend
    reporting. Provides analysis on key operations to accurately
    forecast these costs to determine expected financial
    outcome
  • Assists in the tracking project contingencies
  • Participates in the creation of the payment applications
    and understand its connection with the job cost report and key
    indicators
  • Audits project billings against Oracle, Prolog and billings
    to the owner
  • Participates in Project Reviews with the Project Manager
    and Project team
  • Other duties as assigned
Show your expertise
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Engineering or related
    field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Types of Experience
  • Experience using Prolog and Oracle preferred
  • Experience in construction industry; specific to
    semiconductor plants, clean rooms, and tool installs. Design
    and/or construction of process or clean utility systems
  • Experience developing and reviewing change orders
  • Experience working with engineering, procurement, and
    contractors
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional organization and coordination skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel,
    Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of Project Controls and cost management
    functions
