Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Rio Rancho. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from disabling injuries and illnesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify areas of improvement and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment outcomes.
  • Develop and implement adaptive equipment and assistive device plans to enhance patient independence and mobility.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure maximum benefit of care.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a rehabilitation hospital setting.
  • Knowledge of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency.
