Job Description:

This position participates in planning, programming, testing and documentation of technical projects for the Application Development and Support Bureau, Division of Technology and Innovation, within the Florida Department of Education.

This position assists the primary VERSA Configuration technical resource with VERSA Configuration needs, VERSA data issues, etc.

Examples of Work:

• Maintains existing applications.

• Writes reliable programs, performs testing, and creates documentation.

• Documents procedures for deployment (implementation plans) of products in a manner such that future deployments and redeployments are repeatable with high degree of success.

• Identifies and reports project issues and communicate status to management.

• Ability to think logically, analyze and solve problems.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities, including utilization of equipment, required for the position:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment providing analysis and quality assurance support for various software development technologies, works with managers and teams to remove systematic obstacles that block team efficiency and pace.

Knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of computer programming and systems analysis design.

Knowledge of computer flowcharting techniques;

Knowledge of mathematics;

Knowledge of computer operations, procedures, and systems.
