Duties
  • You will monitor, analyze, and evaluate programs and policies dealing with the Department of the Navy (DON) Critical Infrastructure and Mission Assurance Programs.
  • You will assure that the control systems (i.e. facility related control systems) cyber resiliency is accounted for in policy.
  • You will be responsible for utility and cyber assessments, condition assessments, systems efficiency and reliability standards, mitigation options and alternatives and global recapitalization requirements and priorities.
  • You will participate in Mission Assurance program initiatives to determine the extent of critical infrastructure and energy security coordination within the DON Mission Assurance program.
  • You will provide mastery-level technical expertise and program analysis to stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and defend traditional programming requirements.

    • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
    • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
    • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
    • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

      Qualifications

      Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

      Experience interpreting policy and program requirements, developing program plans, and implementing corrective action.
      Experience with a full range of critical infrastructure protection and mission assurance programs; to include critical asset identification, vulnerability assessments, contingency planning, critical asset security, and core energy, water, and utility infrastructure assurance.
