      Qualifications

      Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provides direct technical and management support to the Region Engineer and CNIC HQ Facilities Management Directorate on all aspects dealing with the Navy's Ashore Facility Management in compliance with and designed to meet public laws, executive orders, and DoD policies and goals; 2) Independently resolves critical problems or issues related to policy application, and coordinates program functions for the Region and subordinate installations; 3) Develops and implements innovative solutions in coordination with CNIC and NAVFAC. Works with CNIC Program Directors (HPD) to establish and implement region level budget policy and set priorities to be used as guidance for installations; 4) Ensures funding is distributed appropriately, data calls are answered, and budgets are submitted on time to Region requirements for facilities support; 5) Coordinates with NAVFAC Financial Management and Business Line staff to track execution of both in-house, and contracted efforts for SICs under their cognizance ensuring NAVFAC's accounting is reconciled with Region's accounting systems for execution year accuracy.6) Coordinates with the Installations and NAVFAC's Business and Product Lines to ensure that requirements for all services applicable to their program such as engineering studies, project development, designs, facility condition inspections, preparation of facility services specifications and performance assessments, real estate documents, transportation requirements, departmental and contracted salaries, training, travel, and supplies are clearly conveyed to enable sound budget decision making.
