Duties

Responsible for reviewing, electronically filing and staffing with Senior Leadership of Headquarters Department of the Army, all oversight reports, audits, reviews, assessments and investigations conducted by supporting oversight organizations. Conduct in-depth analysis of draft and final audit and inspection reports to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and erroneous findings. Partner with the DA Inspector General (DA IG) and Army Audit Agency (USAAA) to mitigate internal control shortcomings for Army's sensitive activities. Complete tasks such as recommending additions, deletions, or corrections to presentation materials, confirming attendees possess the required security clearances and accesses, coordinating for conference rooms and secure VTC connections. Assist the ASPD Resource Manager and ASPD Security Division in establishing secure methods of SAP financial management.

Required to and will voluntarily take a polygraph examination, which will be limited to counterintelligence and/or counterespionage questions. TDY may be required up to 25% of the time. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP-SECRET security clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of national security programs; assisting in the organizational budget-execution process; participating in oral and written communication with senior government officials; and reviewing incoming staff actions and/or decision correspondence. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
