Position Overview
KBR is on the lookout for a driven sourcing and procurement analyst. The selected candidate will oversee procurement activities that support various customer-driven business operations.

The analyst will evaluate purchase requests from clients, determining the most suitable procurement method for acquiring goods, services, and supplies.

Depending on the purchase amount, the analyst will either place orders directly with vendors using a procurement card or coordinate purchase orders through KBR's procurement team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Obtaining project charge numbers from financial management.
  • Creating requisitions in CostPoint for purchase orders.
  • Collaborating with clients to develop sole source justifications when required.
  • Receiving and processing all orders, keeping clients informed of receipt, and providing necessary documentation for invoice processing.
  • Approving invoices in OnBase and tracking all purchases from order to delivery.
  • Addressing any defects or delivery issues with suppliers and negotiating refunds as needed.
  • Providing regular updates on purchase statuses to KBR program managers.

Basic Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience in procurement support for contracts or programs is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and meet the necessary security requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are highly valued. Experience with CostPoint and OnBase is a plus.
