Metro Transit Employee Services is looking for highly organized, customer-focused Talent Associates to join the Talent Acquisition (TA) team. The Talent Acquisition Associate is an integral member of the Employee Services Division and is responsible for handling administrative and outreach details in support of Metro Transit's recruitment efforts. Talent Associates organize, prioritize, coordinate, and deploy key elements of high-volume selection processes that receive, screen, test, evaluate, and hire more than 1000 employees annually.

Metro's Employee Services Division (Human Resources) supports the largest Department in King County in recruitment and selection, workforce planning and development, hiring authority and section manager advisement, HRIS data and analytics, and electronic records management. Recruitment information: This recruitment will be used to fill multiple Special Duty Assignment (SDA) or TLT (Term-Limited Temporary) Talent Associate vacancies within the Employee Services Talent Acquisition team. These TLT/SDA positions are expected to last through December 2025 with the possibility of extension. In addition, this selection process may be used to generate an eligibility pool for future SDA, TLT, or STT (Short Term Temporary) vacancies that may occur in this classification and workgroup.   • Support the facilitation of recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.

Work Schedule
This position is non-exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act, and therefore is eligible for overtime pay. This position works a 40-hour workweek (Monday-Friday); typically between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM. Flex schedules may be considered after 6 months in the role, with supervisor approval. Occasional schedule variations (including working non-standard hours to facilitate testing, interviews, events, job fairs, etc.) may be required.

Work Location
The main work site associated with this position is King Street Center, 201 S. Jackson St, Seattle WA Associates perform the majority of their work through teleworking; however, they are also expected to support on-site recruiting activities at a variety of King County buildings, bases, and public venues. Note: Employees must live in Washington state and within a reasonable distance of their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
