Duties

Serve as the lead on intelligence policies, procedures, and doctrine for the CI (counterintelligence) and HUMINT (human intelligence) programs in the Army National Guard. Act as a CI and HUMINT liaison on behalf of the Army National Guard G-2 in the Intelligence Community (IC) by establishing and maintaining positive relationships with key Stakeholders. Oversee emerging initiatives as the Army National Guard CI and HUMINT Strategic Planner. Serve as the budget analyst in planning, programming, budgeting and executing ARNG Counterintelligence and Human Intelligence resourcing.

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Two year trial/probationary period may be required. In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Interpreting and adapting CI (counterintelligence) and HUMINT (human intelligence) guidelines, policies, regulations, precedents, and work directions for application to support training, operations or requirements; persuading or influencing others to gain concurrence on major issues that affect HUMINT and CI policy; conducting management studies and analytical assessments to identify and resolve critical readiness problems in CI and HUMINT programs; analyzing the planning and execution of budgets.

Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.

Education
