Expedient is hiring an AI Product Lead. At the forefront of AI innovation, Expedient is creating cutting-edge AI software products that enable businesses to harness the power of artificial intelligence. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced AI Product Lead to join our team and drive the development and success of our AI solutions.
As the AI Product Lead, reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, you will be the visionary and driving force behind our AI software product suite, which includes the AI gateway, Data Connectors, the vector store, and private AI model hosting. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of product development, from conception to launch, and will oversee the implementation and support of customer deployments. You will also play a key role in sales engineering, customer support, and sales and marketing enablement.
Your success will be measured by how quickly we can grow AI product revenue. The expectation is this will be a full-time in-office position in the Cleveland Datacenter.
Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage OKRs that align with overall Expedient company goals.
  • Lead the end-to-end development of the AI software product suite, including the AI gateway, Data Connectors, the Vector Store, and Private AI model hosting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architecture, IS/IT, marketing, sales) to define product requirements and drive the product roadmap.
  • Ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of product features and enhancements by using standard development processes like Scrum/Jira Boards for both process consistency and observability.
  • Create and manage internal implementations of our AI products in terms of applications to accelerate adoption and growth within Expedient operations.
  • Oversee the implementation of AI solutions for customers, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Establish and manage customer support processes, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of customer issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers, helping them maximize the value of our AI products.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise and support during the sales process.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical presentations to potential customers.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and resources to enable the sales and marketing teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or commensurate experience
  • Proven experience in product management and development.
  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of AI technologies, including AI gateways, Data Connectors, vector stores, and model hosting.
  • Experience in customer implementation and support, with a track record of successful customer deployments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales engineering or pre-sales technical support.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and AI infrastructure.
  • Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment.

Salary for this position is directly related to the skills and experience that you bring to the job. The estimated annual range, based on the competitive local job market is $140k - $180k.
