Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and driven Manufacturing Technician II to join our world-class team in the United States. As a Manufacturing Technician II, you will demonstrate exceptional work behaviors in building sophisticated scientific instruments to support our production goals. Shift Information

Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (overtime as needed)

Responsibilities
  • Test the final assembly build of instruments to ensure they meet all quality standards.
  • Follow work instructions for mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblies, material handling, and inventory verification.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
Required Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
Preferred Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience with mechanical assembly, various hand tools, and computers preferred.
  • Proven track record as a Production Technician preferred.

Physical Requirements
  • May require exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
