Position Summary:
The Electronic Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems according to engineering specifications and customer requirements. This role operates within a designated cell under the supervision of a team leader.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Interpret work orders, manufacturing routing sheets, and bills of materials; adhere to production drawings and sample assemblies, or follow verbal instructions for tasks.
2. Position and align components in specified relationships using jigs, fixtures, or other holding devices.
3. Perform assembly operations such as crimping, staking, screwing, bolting, riveting, welding, soldering, cementing, and press fitting to secure parts.
4. Mount components like transformers, resistors, and integrated circuits onto chassis panels.
5. Connect component lead wires to printed circuits or route and connect wires between individual components and terminals.
6. Install completed assemblies or subassemblies into cases and cabinets.
7. Attach hardware, including caps, clamps, knobs, and switches, to assemblies.
8. Conduct intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, cleaning, and color coding parts.
9. Execute simple machine setups that do not require technician intervention.
10. Perform preventative maintenance on automated assembly machinery.
11. Adjust materials from components to meet specified electrical or dimensional standards.
12. Conduct online testing and inspection to ensure compliance with production specifications.
13. Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of fourth-grade reading proficiency is required.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Ability to successfully complete a small parts dexterity test is essential.
