The Manufacturing division is accountable for both clinical and commercial production while adhering to regulatory standards and client specifications. The role entails a variety of production tasks, including solution preparation, cell bank generation, cell culture, protein purification, and fill/finish operations.

This entry-level role within the Manufacturing team is perfect for acquiring skills and training in a cGMP biomanufacturing setting. The Technician will operate in a controlled environment to produce biopharmaceutical products, following established protocols and procedures under supervision.

Position Details:

This is a full-time on-site hourly position, with a schedule from Sunday to Wednesday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts fundamental Upstream cell culture tasks, including aseptic techniques and large-scale cell cultivation.
  • Follows manufacturing Batch Production Records (BPRs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), emphasizing accurate execution.
  • Records all activities in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
  • Identifies deviations and proposes safety or quality enhancements.
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • May mentor junior team members and engage in Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.
  • Attends shift meetings and maintains cleanroom standards.
  • Completes other assigned responsibilities as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field or a high school diploma with applicable experience is required.
  • Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally may be necessary.
