Job Description

The Engineer II plays a critical role in our organization, overseeing various engineering activities to drive process safety, product development, cost reduction, and continuous improvement. This position requires a dedicated individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design products, processes, and facilities to meet performance and cost objectives
  • Manage capital improvement projects and research new technologies
  • Develop financial justifications for capital appropriations
  • Analyze production metrics and identify improvement opportunities
  • Support Lean Manufacturing programs and optimize processes
  • Design and implement product quality plans for new and existing products
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 3 years of engineering experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, biological, or food production
  • Ability to work in various environments and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong knowledge of process engineering principles and equipment selection
  • Experience with computer-aided design tools and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proven leadership abilities and project management experience
  • Proficiency in PC applications and willingness to work occasional off-shift or weekend hours
