Your Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be crucial in refining our manufacturing processes. At HNI, we prioritize innovation and excellence, ensuring that your efforts contribute significantly to our operational success and your career advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze and troubleshoot work-in-progress challenges to maintain smooth production operations.
2. Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance.
3. Provide support and direction to the Maintenance Planner, Inventory Specialist, and Supply Chain Analyst.
4. Manage the CMMS program and data management, continuously improving policies for better efficiency.
5. Establish and track maintenance KPIs and MDI metrics to meet facility objectives.
6. Oversee inventory and maintenance budgets to optimize resource allocation.
7. Coordinate inspections and repairs with OEM Technicians to reduce downtime.
8. Serve as a subject matter expert in equipment troubleshooting and solutions.
9. Recommend and implement process and equipment enhancements to promote operational reliability.
10. Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on achieving results.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing methodologies, including RCI, 3P, Value Stream Mapping, and statistical analysis.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to collaboration.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
