The Manufacturing department plays a crucial role in clinical and commercial production, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and client specifications. This role encompasses a variety of production tasks, including solution preparation, cell bank generation, cell culture, protein purification, and fill/finish operations.

This entry-level opportunity within the Manufacturing team is perfect for individuals looking to acquire skills and training in a cGMP biomanufacturing environment. The Technician will operate in a controlled clean room environment to produce biopharmaceutical products, following established protocols and procedures under supervision.

Position Details:

  • Conducts fundamental Upstream cell culture tasks, including aseptic techniques and large-scale cell culture
  • Follows manufacturing Batch Production Records (BPRs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), emphasizing accuracy and quality
  • Records all activities in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDPs)
  • Identifies any deviations and proposes safety or quality enhancements
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives
  • May mentor junior team members and engage in Continuous Improvement (CI) projects
  • Contributes to shift meetings and maintains cleanroom standards
  • Performs additional assigned responsibilities

Candidate Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field or a high school diploma with applicable experience
  • Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally may be required
