Compensation includes a base salary of $97, $161, The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Job Description
Cox Automotive is currently looking for a Lead Project Manager, Human Resources Operations to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a hybrid role, and the schedule will be a mix of in-office/work-from-home.
The Role:

As a key member of the Human Resources (HR) Operations team, the Lead Project Manager will manage day-to-day efforts to integrate people, process, and technology dimensions collectively to transform Cox Automotive. This includes portfolio management, governance, implementation and execution, matrix alignment, stakeholder identification and management, change management and communication, process, technology, data and analytics, and transformation management. This role will be a key resource to help drive People Solutions (PS) programs and projects. This role will work with HR Operations Leadership, COE workstream sponsors, People Solutions leaders, IT Finance, and Communications to accomplish key transformation objectives impacting various parts of our PS function. This role will require strong leadership to advise, lead, sequence and deliver large, cross-functional PS initiatives. The incumbent plays a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, processes, and tools to ensure effective project/portfolio management and success.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner across Cox Automotive People Solutions team and with other key business and workstream leaders to deliver key initiatives to the benefit of Cox Automotive team members.
  • Lead day-to-day interactions with workstream leaders, People Solutions more broadly and sponsors.
  • Lead COE project leaders to develop integrated strategy for programmatic efforts across functional groups and multiple projects.
  • Facilitates and influences strategic direction of People Solutions projects and/or program(s). Provides program leadership and support for COE and delivery teams.
  • Selects tools/techniques to meet specific requirements such as business case, pricing, or financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs.
  • Determines the requirements of projects and programs through defining, analyzing, and managing data sets to meet needs and expectations.
  • Determines the needs and expectations of the project and then confirms these with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Creates clear, effective deliverable content, including written, visual, and oral deliverables, which are informed by research, analytics, and stakeholder meetings. Presents content that addresses needs in solutioning sessions to drive toward a decision and validating that decision with leadership to drive the People Solutions changes in service delivery model, support business growth and progress.
  • Drives all phases of the program delivery lifecycle for the design, development, testing and operational excellence and Shared Services solutions.
  • Generates and delivers reports to internal and external stakeholders, including project and workstream status. Supporting the development of HR process design and HR operations documentation based on requirements.
  • Works collaboratively with other project management resources and workstreams across the business to ensure alignment, proper prioritization, and manage collisions.
  • Develops scorecards and measurement tools to report on the health of key transformation efforts against established goals, objectives, budgets, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Provides weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual updates on the progress of key initiatives to various audiences across the business, ranging from front-line team members to c-suite executives.
This individual will have:
  • Expertise in operationalizing matrixed resources based on the needs of the various workstreams.
  • A track record of leading a matrixed team to achieve initiative goals and objectives.
  • Passion for leading transformational work in a highly competitive industry and ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex project/program management.
  • Working experience managing HR projects and working with technology project management methodologies. (e.g., waterfall, agile, iterative).
Required
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline and 6 years' work experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience in project/program management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of industry-leading Program Management methodologies and/or frameworks.
  • Proficient in value stream mapping, process capability analysis, data collection and analysis, financial impact, root-cause identification, etc.
  • Proven ability to resolve conflicts and/or neutralize organizational resistance to change.
  • Program/project management experience with proven ability to successfully lead large-scale, enterprise-wide projects with information technology and business process implications. Ability to collaborate and partner with various subject-matter experts and other delivery teams (e.g., IT, PMO) across the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate productive meetings with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to build internal and external relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead conversations at senior levels with strong executive presence.
  • Demonstrated ability to be successful within a fast pace, highly matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner with various SMEs across the Cox Automotive organization.
  • Expert level experience in negotiation, collaboration, influencing, and working in a matrixed environment. High degree of self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
  • Proficient with business productivity (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
Preferred
Qualifications:
  • 5 years' experience in HR.
  • Advanced degree.
  • PMP or Agile certification.
  • Workday experience.
  • Functional area expertise in Compensation, Core HR, Talent Management and/ or Talent Acquisition.
  • SmartSheets knowledge.
