Technical Sales Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Planning, implementation, and management of customer projects or sub-projects
  • Reviewing customer requirements regarding technical and economic feasibility; evaluating existing technical solutions for suitability and applicability to customer requirements
  • Calculating and designing products based on customer requirements
  • Preparing offers and providing follow-up care for customers
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships, including post-project support

Technical Sales Engineer Qualifications:

To be considered for the Technical Sales Representative position, applicants should:

  • Successfully completed technical vocational training with further education as a technician or a degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or a comparable field
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in technical sales, preferably in the field of drive technology
  • Assertiveness, ability to contribute innovative ideas, negotiation skills with a sense of feasibility, confident demeanor
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%.
