As a Sales and Service Engineer for HVAC Systems, you'll play a crucial role in growing our business with existing customers and developing new opportunities.

This position involves applications engineering, sales support, and field service work, requiring a driven and motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You'll receive extensive formalized training and work under a mentor to develop your skills and gain a deep understanding of CaptiveAire products, application engineering processes, and business development strategies.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing integrated application engineering and design support for a wide range of ventilation applications.
  • Working directly with Engineers, Contractors, End Users, and Food Service Dealers.
  • Inside sales support, application engineering, and outside sales.
  • Presentations, quotes, submittals, technical product support, job site visits, and hands-on troubleshooting.
  • Educating and promoting CaptiveAire products to users in your market.
  • Researching and developing new business opportunities with new and existing users.
  • Providing top-notch customer service and a willingness to go above and beyond to serve the customer.
  • Quick turnaround times are a priority.

This position will train in NH for a few months and then be working out of New Haven, CT.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience preferred.
  • 4-year technical degree in a mechanical, electrical, construction, or physics-oriented curriculum.
  • Excellent computer, organizational, and communication/presentation skills.
  • Strong desire to interface with the customer.
  • Embracing new technologies and business savvy.
  • Passion for work with an aggressive nature to succeed.
  • Willingness to travel for various training opportunities.

Compensation:

$65k-$90k base, dependent on experience with monthly bonus based on productivity and profits.
