The Recruiting Manager will lead and develop the recruitment team, build out department KPIs, create strategies to increase efficiency, improve ATS utilization, etc.


In this role, you will oversee the recruitment process, manage a team of recruiters, and develop strategies to attract top talent for various positions within our manufacturing operations. You will work closely with hiring managers, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a team of recruiters responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates for manufacturing roles.
  2. Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain qualified talent.
  3. Collaborate with hiring managers and HR to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  4. Oversee the recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  5. Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to recruiting team members.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and job placement services.
  8. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and talent acquisition.
  9. Participate in strategic workforce planning and talent management initiatives.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment laws.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in recruiting, with at least [number] years in a leadership or managerial role.
  3. Strong understanding of recruitment processes, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  5. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  6. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
  8. Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  9. Professional certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR, AIRS) is a plus.
  10. Experience in the manufacturing or related industry is preferred.
