Compensation: $21.00 - $26.00
POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Assistant is mainly responsible for assisting the IT Manager with any technology & infrastructure trouble shooting and maintenance and support the technological needs of users and the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the IT Manager with performing routine technological systems support, maintenance and testing for proper upkeep of systems.
- Trouble-shoot system software and hardware issues, network failures and conflicts.
- Coordinate problem escalation to the appropriate customer support group.
- Assist with building and repairing computers; maintains them running as needed.
- Set up and maintain workstations, electronic equipment (printers/copiers) and antivirus systems.
- Provide technical end-user support as requested.
- Assist in the move and transition of all end-user hardware and phone systems (VoIP).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS or AS Degree in a Technical field (desired).
- Relevant Certifications in IT, i.e. CompTIA A+ (preferred).
- 1-2+ of IT Support or Desktop Support expeirnece in a professional setting (required).
- Knowledge of hardware technologies such as Dell & HP servers.
- Ability to perform routine and fundamental technical support duties.
- Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware products and systems.
- Expeirnece configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting Windows OS and familiarity with Windows Domain server experience.
- Prior expeirnece managing and maintaining MS Office 365 (desired).
- Experience conjuring, troubleshooting, and supporting VoIP/phone systems. Expeirnece with TotalCX VoIP is a plus
- Prior expeirnece testing, updating, and maintaining Dealership systems (Big Plus)
