E7 is a privately-owned firm headquartered in Troy, Michigan and serves SMB and Enterprise clients both domestically and globally.


About the Position

The Account Executive is a sales position that requires a team player with strong communication and negotiating skills, who effectively and strategically builds relationships with clients and our partners. This role involves identifying opportunities by understanding and championing the expectations of our clients as well as closing the deal. AE’s need to develop a deep understanding of our client's business and effectively tailor their pitch. The Account Executive must possess IT / business transformation solution selling, client service, and relationship-first mindsets. Skills should include strong/creative problem solving, product/service knowledge, multitasking, influential communication, and collaboration.


Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Achieving Quarterly and Annual Quotas
  • Completing Quarterly Goals
  • Building relationships with clients and E7’s partner reps
  • Utilizing E7’s sales processes and tools
  • Keeping accurate, up-to-date account records
  • Creating and qualifying opportunities for selling business transformation / service management related services.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients by understanding their goals.
  • Developing sales strategies with clients, E7’s sales leadership, and various departments.
  • Identifying and aligning client opportunities with E7’s services and our partners’ software. (i.e. Sell both services and software.)
  • Creating clarity for the client as to how the E7 can solve their challenges.
  • Negotiating contracts and ensuring they are executed.
  • Closing deals and initiate the engagement.
  • Nurturing relationships with clients to ensure that their needs are met.
  • Meeting sales targets and ensuring that sales goals are met.
  • Collaborating and working with other departments within E7 such as Marketing, Client Services, and Finance.
  • Completion of various training product and service programs.


About You:

  • You have a successful background in Sales as an Account Executive with experience selling advisory, professional, and managed IT/business transformation services alongside partner/channel software.
  • You have a strong understanding of service management principles and transformation strategies. You have the ability to identify problems and think creatively to come up with innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have good understanding of Atlassian products. Acceptable to also have a background selling ServiceNow, Zendesk, Freshservice, or BMC Helix (Remedy).

Benefits:

Base Salary with strong commission and on target earnings of $250 - 300K with no cap.
