A trailblazer in the podcast industry, our client has played a pivotal role in shaping the digital audio and influencer advertising landscape as the foremost performance-driven audio advertising agency. They are looking for a Programmatic Media Trader to join their dynamic team.


The programmatic media trader will support the media team by managing and optimizing programmatic buys for clients, developing strategies, KPIs, and frameworks, and preparing campaign reports. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in attention to detail and organization, and possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills. They are resourceful, proficient in data management, and adept at negotiation.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop multiple programmatic campaigns using DSP platforms.
  • Analyze various avenues and derive data-driven marketing insights from client campaigns at a tactical level.
  • Monitor campaign performance, optimize as needed, and report progress to both internal and external clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and communicate with media partners to ensure campaigns are set up to track the appropriate metrics.
  • Stay abreast of emerging programmatic technology trends, attend partner presentations to enhance programmatic expertise.
  • Train the company’s employees in programmatic trading and their best practices.
  • Assist in creating and distributing proposals for new business and existing clients.
  • Stay updated on industry news and research to maintain current knowledge.



Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in media, marketing, or advertising, focusing on trading campaigns with yield optimization through platforms like DV360, The Trade Desk, AdsWizz, Verizon, etc.
  • Proficient in programmatic ad operations, including trafficking, QA, troubleshooting ad tags/assets, and campaign tracking/measurement.
  • Familiarity with SSPs, Ad Servers, Data Tools, and Measurement platforms such as LiveRamp, AdsWizz, Magnite, Podsights, Xandr, Artsai, etc.
  • Experience in programmatic audio planning and activation is a plus.
  • Expertise in Pixel Implementation, Strategy, Troubleshooting, and Data Attribution.
  • Skilled in RTB, Private Marketplace deals, and various 1st and 3rd party targeting parameters.
  • Negotiation skills with external partners or willingness to develop them.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and working knowledge of Google Sheets.
  • Demonstrated success in driving profitable high-volume customer acquisition.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset preferred, especially in the evolving field of programmatic podcast buying.
  • Experience with agencies or in-house trading is desirable.
  • Strong numerical aptitude, accuracy, and deadline management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of executing tasks accurately on the first attempt.
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to collaborate across functions.
