Responsibilities:

  • Ensure strict adherence to leasing laws, including HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and Fair Credit Reporting Act.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HUD 4350.3 Handbook and collaborate with Compliance Department on regulatory responses.
  • Implement intervention strategies with Regional Managers and Compliance Department for tenants not complying with lease and compliance requirements.
  • Manage and prepare for site reviews including REAC, MOR, Investor Site Reviews, and LIHTC Reviews.
  • Assist tenants with requests, questions, problems, and complaints.
  • Monitor tenant arrears and litigation cases across the property.
  • Document lease violations and coordinate eviction processes.
  • Oversee collection of rents, late fees, and manage delinquencies through legal action.
  • Alert staff on move-ins, move-outs, and emergency situations.
  • Supervise preventive and emergency maintenance to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate vendor bids, contractor quotes, and oversee unit inspections.
  • Conduct bi-annual walk-throughs with the Building Superintendent.
  • Generate reports to ensure all properties are well-maintained and address building needs effectively.
  • Stay updated on ongoing construction projects and unit renovations, ensuring compliance and minimal disruption.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to prevent violations and ensure smooth inspections and access.
  • Attend monthly financial meetings, monitoring budgets and expenses closely.


Requirements:

  • Three (3) years of management experience, including team supervision (property management, hospitality, retail, or restaurant management).
  • COS or CPO certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with EIV and Yardi preferred.
  • TCS certification for tax credit properties highly desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines effectively.
