Job Overview

At Community-Minded Enterprises, we are dedicated to fostering hope and healing within our community. As the Manager of Recovery Café, you will be instrumental in this mission, embodying the voice of recovery in the local area.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Oversight:

  • Collaborate with the Associate Director of Contracts, Compliance, and Quality Assurance to supervise and manage contracts related to Recovery Café services.

Subcontract Management:

  • Work alongside the Associate Director to oversee all subcontracts and initiatives associated with Recovery Café services.

Financial Oversight:

  • Partner with the Senior Director of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services to develop and manage budgetary and grant processes.

Leadership:

  • Supervise all program staff at the Recovery Café in conjunction with the Behavioral Health and Recovery Services Leadership Team.

Staff Training and Development:

  • Implement training and development programs for staff in collaboration with the RCS Leadership team.

Building Partnerships:

  • Establish new partnerships to enhance collaborations and further RCS objectives.

Educational Initiatives:

  • Lead training sessions and educational programs within the School for Recovery.

Human Resources Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with HR for recruitment, onboarding, and staff management.

Collaborative Work:

  • Engage with CME Recovery Support Services staff to meet objectives and assist clients.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill other duties as assigned.

Flexibility:

  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend hours as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field, with a minimum of 2-5 years of supervisory experience, or equivalent experience in a relevant area.
  • Alternatively, 2-5 years of relevant work and supervisory experience without an advanced degree.

Certifications:

  • Valid Driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile liability insurance are required.
  • Preferred certifications include CCAR Recovery Coach and Trainer, CCAR Ethical Considerations Trainer, and Mental Health Peer Support Specialist.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, financial reports, and legal materials.
  • Capable of responding to inquiries from customers and regulatory bodies.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Proficient in mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics.
  • Able to apply concepts like fractions, percentages, and ratios to real-world situations.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Demonstrates cultural competency and understanding of the recovery process for individuals in substance use and mental health treatment.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Able to manipulate data and generate reports using various software tools.

Program Administration:

  • Expertise in program and resource development.

Community Engagement:

  • Experience in recovery services and community collaborations related to mental health.
  • Strong skills in community development and partnership building.
