Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial management of the associations in alignment with the management agreement and governing documents.
- Serve as the primary contact for the Association Board of Directors and homeowners.
- Execute tasks as directed by the Board of Directors in accordance with the management agreement.
- Review monthly financial statements and provide management summaries to the Board.
- Monitor delinquency and collections processes for the assigned portfolio.
- Participate in Board meetings as stipulated in the management agreement.
- Assist the Board with architectural review processes and routine inspections as per the management agreement.
- Maintain accurate files, records, and correspondence in line with company protocols and best practices.
- Possess knowledge of association governing documents, rules, regulations, and legal requirements.
- Exemplify outstanding customer service and maintain open communication with homeowners, vendors, realtors, tenants, and board members.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and relevant laws.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Georgia Community Association Manager (CAM) License or a Georgia Real Estate License issued by the Georgia Real Estate Commission.
- Membership with CAI is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in community association management (HOA) is preferred.
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial reports and budgeting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Understanding of the role of the association board and the Community Engagement Manager.
- Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
