Job Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration or organizational management
  2. A minimum of 24 months of experience is mandatory working in the military and/or VA healthcare system.
  3. Experience must include assignments in such activities as radiation claims management, management of radioactive material permits or licenses, management of radioactive material and radioactive wastes; personnel monitoring and exposure assessments; conducting radiological protection surveys; or supervision and direction of the Health Physics Programs.
  4. Experience with compliance and implementation of current federal regulations and consensus standards related to ionizing radiation protection, to include Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations (Energy) (10 CFR), 2 CFR 200.79, and the HIPAA.
  5. Must have expert experience with Microsoft applications, including Word®, Excel®, Outlook® and PowerPoint®, and have strong written and oral communication skills.
  6. Experience with the U.S. Air Force, and particularly working in headquarter staff environments.
  7. Familiarity with USAF organization and structure.
  8. It is preferred that the contractor have a historical understanding of the nuclear weapons enterprise and broken arrow events.
