Established in 2018 by Dr. David Bartels, our focus has expanded to include not only Medical Oncology and Hematology but also Radiation Oncology and Rheumatology. We are also committed to advancing the field through clinical research and offering our patients opportunities to participate in various clinical trials.
Our Radiation services commenced recently, and we are eager to enhance our team of Radiation Therapy Specialists. We currently offer a flexible PRN schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interprets and executes treatment plans as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
- Updates patient records with administered radiation dosages.
- Maintains and operates radiation therapy equipment effectively.
- Evaluates the effects of therapeutic interventions on patient conditions and monitors progress towards treatment goals.
- Utilizes various medical and Microsoft software applications.
- Documents care in accordance with established standards and best practices.
- Conducts scheduled treatment chart audits.
- Assists with various tasks throughout the clinic to fulfill our mission of delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Essential Qualifications:
- Certification as a BLS Provider from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.
- Experience with Varian True Beam and Aria is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in high-pressure situations.
