Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting team, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining files.
  • Assist with basic accounting tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, and expense tracking.
  • Prepare financial documents, reports, and spreadsheets as needed.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of financial transactions.
  • Communicate with vendors, donors, and staff regarding payments, donations, and financial inquiries.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the finance department.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a nonprofit or accounting environment.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices; previous experience in accounting is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
