Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and Development: Create and modify detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of machinery components using SolidWorks, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Prototype Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop prototypes, including testing and refining designs to meet performance and quality objectives.
  • Mechanical Analysis: Perform stress, thermal, and dynamic analyses on machinery components to ensure optimal performance under various operating conditions.
  • Material Selection: Recommend appropriate materials for components based on mechanical properties, cost-effectiveness, and durability in agricultural and food processing environments.
  • Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including BOMs (Bill of Materials), assembly instructions, and maintenance manuals, for new and existing designs.
  • Design Optimization: Continuously improve designs for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and ease of assembly, while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to ensure designs are executed effectively and meet all project timelines.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Ability to read and understand designs and schematics
  • 4 years of mechanical engineering experience
  • SolidWorks a must
  • At least one year of food processing machinery, agricultural/construction machinery, or automation machinery
