LHH is currently partnering with a leadership development/education tech firm who is seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Associate to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the company. This position offers a unique opportunity for professional development and career advancement in the field of business development. The base salary for the position ranges between $50k-$55k and will offer bonus opportunity. This is a hybrid role in Washington, DC.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential clients and key decision-makers in target industries.
  • Utilize various channels, including online research, social media, and networking events, to generate new leads.
  • Initiate contact with potential clients through emails, phone calls, and other communication methods.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services to potential clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Understand client needs and collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the team to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other sales materials.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategies for achieving sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for professional growth within the company.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Basic understanding of business development principles and sales processes.
