The IT Program Manager will assist a software engineering organization within one of the largest health insurances companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, an understanding of IT infrastructure and software development, and excellent leadership and communication skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate issues and risks to senior management as needed.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior leadership.
  • Conduct project evaluations and assessments to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Track and report on the team’s progress using Agile metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Assist with refining and maintaining an intake and delivery process across the org
  • Promote high quality standards and practices within the team, ensuring that the deliverables meet the desired outcomes and business goals.
  • Facilitate meetings and ensure effective communication within the org.
  • Track project progress and keep all stakeholders updated on progress and impediments
  • Document technical discussions, hosting meetings with an audience of 20 to 100, summarizing and assigning action items
  • Identify and remove any obstacles that may impede the team’s progress and act as buffer between the team and external distractions when possible.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT project management or Scrum Master.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale IT projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or equivalent.
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to build convincing presentations and deliver to senior leaders
  • Previous experience using tools such as JIRA, JIRA Align, and Confluence


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) | Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Experience managing Data projects-Enterprise Data Warehouse, Big Data – Hadoop/Databricks/Snowflake
