Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team at Harmonia Holdings Group, LLC. As a key member of our Accounting Department, you will be responsible for reviewing funding structures and invoice requirements, generating accurate and timely invoices, and managing our Accounts Receivable aging report.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with government contract requirements.
  • Invoice Management: Generate and submit invoices with supporting documentation, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Regularly review and follow up on Accounts Receivable aging report to ensure prompt payment from clients.
  • Financial Audits: Assist the Controller with reconciliations, DCAA audits, and other financial audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • ERP Management: Manage our issue ticketing system, Fresh Desk, and serve as the ERP SME.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum 4-year accounting education or equivalent bookkeeping experience.
  • Experience: Experience with government contract billing is a must.
  • Skills: Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, proficient with Microsoft Office, and able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency with Excel spreadsheet-building, experience with Jamis ERP System, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
