Position Summary:

This role operates in a hybrid environment, requiring in-office presence three days a week. The Junior Cybersecurity Analyst collaborates with IT leadership and staff to identify vulnerabilities within La-Z-Boy's information systems and develop effective remediation strategies. Utilizing advanced security tools, this position plays a crucial role in monitoring and ensuring the integrity of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments of information security alerts, providing detailed analysis and tracking remediation efforts.
  • Utilize endpoint detection and response tools for effective triage and review.
  • Operate Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) systems alongside other data analysis platforms with guidance from senior security team members.
  • Prepare and maintain operational metrics on various dashboards, ensuring stakeholders are informed about the security landscape.
  • Monitor diverse threat intelligence sources to maintain awareness of emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct security assessments and testing to support change management and system development processes, employing best practices in INFOSEC.
  • Assist in IT investigations as needed.

Scope and Impact:

This position is integral to the cybersecurity framework of La-Z-Boy, encompassing various sectors including manufacturing and retail. The Junior Cybersecurity Analyst works closely with infrastructure and operations teams to mitigate risks and enhance system security.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Security+ Certification.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Experience managing confidential information.
  • Some project management experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting end-user desktop environments.
  • Familiarity with network operations.

Work Environment: Office setting with no unusual physical demands.
