Senior International Business Development Manager

Envision Technology, an innovative business providing advanced electro-optical and uncrewed systems solutions for defense and law enforcement applications, is seeking an International Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of the overall international sales and business development efforts for the organization, including the execution of the growth plan, business opportunities and sales pipeline, distribution network, and capture strategy. The position requires flexibility to manage multiple projects at multiple locations seamlessly while using acute analytical and strategic skills to successfully guide and assist with the closing of business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Execute new business capture efforts, including customer/opportunity identification, quote generation, sales administration through contract execution for all international business.
- Gather market-leading intelligence and information about the product and market areas assigned and disseminates information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning strategy, business capture, and the fulfillment of project goals and objectives.
- Perform continuous scanning of the market to gather trends - customer needs, budget allocations, market size and competitive dynamics in order to develop short and long-term business plans and strategies to meet growth objectives.
- Develop and strengthen key customer relationships; act as the “voice of the customer” in internal meetings and advise higher management and Envision team members on status or action required in connection with existing and potential sales programs.
- Establish and grow the distribution and reseller network for Envision’s products.
- Identify international customer needs which align with the company’s capabilities.
- Create and maintain key international business contacts critical to successful business development and growth.
- Interface with others in a fast-paced, multi-discipline environment, including program managers, engineers, and customers.
- Contribute to the company’s annual business development/sales plan and product roadmap.
- Support proposal and bid activities for both international and domestic business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with demonstrated experience in international business development and sales.
- 5+ years’ experience in international business development and sales experience in the EO/IR defense space.
- In-depth knowledge of the dismounted warfighter electro-optics market, including key customers and competitive landscape.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to interact with customers, suppliers, and other external personnel.
- Experience with system expectations in a military environment and/or challenging commercial environments.
- Knowledge of international customers procurement processes and International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- Understand and have the ability to capture new international business and cultivate customer relationships on behalf of the company.
