We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team of almost 50 people and growing. This role will be pivotal in overseeing our HR operations, focusing on people strategy, culture and managing our benefits portal, HRIS (Human Resource Information System), and ATS (Applicant Tracking System).


Reports to: CEO; working closely with her to champion organization and people strategy.


Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Own full cycle recruiting in house for all levels of the organization, including backfilling roles, intern programs and college recruitment
  • Represent hotelAVE at industry relevant recruitment events and act as a brand ambassador
  • Advocate of the company’s core values and culture statements as well as our DEI policy on behalf of the entire company
  • Manage and optimize the benefits portal for accurate and efficient benefits administration and employee self-service functionalities
  • Oversee the HRIS, ensuring data integrity, system updates, and customization to meet the specific needs of the team
  • Administer the ATS to streamline recruiting processes, including job postings, candidate management, and onboarding procedures
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies aligned with headcount goals to retain top talent
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS and ATS vendors, managing relationships, contracts, and system upgrades
  • Lead initiatives to enhance HR operational efficiency through process automation, compliance improvements, and employee engagement initiatives


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or 5 consecutive years of comparably leveled experience within the hospitality, real estate or professional services industry
  • Progressive experience in HR operations management within the hospitality, real estate or professional services consulting industries
  • Fluency in managing HRIS and ATS platforms (e.g., Taleo, UltiPro) with a strong understanding of their functionalities and integrations
  • Proficiency in using and analyzing Predictive Index desired
  • Solid understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations in multiple states
  • Experience running in house recruiting strategies. Agency experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) strongly preferred
