Pay Range: $60 - $70/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:


  • Confidence working as an independent delivery designer, moving from sketching to wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping with ease
  • Experienced with design tools (we use Figma and Mural)
  • Proven experience utilizing established brand guidelines and design systems to push consistency throughout the larger enterprise customer experience
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and designing around product intent
  • Working with developers to explain nuance, functionality, interaction, and edge-cases in the design work
  • Applying research insights and data to decision-making in design
  • Articulating and presenting the process and logic behind design decisions
  • Ability to gain a deep understanding of target users, with frequent research and interactions to fuel knowledge
  • Knowing when and how to create journey maps, service blueprints and user flows
  • Proudly and actively supports our Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging efforts, and applies organizational principles to everything
  • Troubleshoots problems independently


Key Requirements and Technology Experience:


  • UX writing/content strategy experience
  • Experience using Airtable
  • Crafting and conducting user testing, then synthesizing results to drive design decisions
  • Motion design and micro-interaction experience
  • Experience facilitating or participating in design workshops with internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding of the nuances of the small business industry.
  • Highlights both UX and UI work
  • Reflects understanding of design principles, systems thinking and industry-standard interaction patterns for responsive web and/or mobile.
  • Showcases end-to-end work on digital product design projects – show process from discovery to delivery
  • Gives us a glimpse of what makes you and your skills unique.
  • At least 3 years of experience with UX and UI digital product design
  • Bachelor’s degree or military experience.5+ years of experience with UI design
  • 3+ years of experience with UX research
  • 3+ years of experience designing across channels (web, mobile, apps)
  • Mobile design experience
  • Master’s degree in a design related field
