This position is to join our Healthcare Staffing division, based in Austin, Texas (W. 12th Street), as an Account Manager - Team Lead within the Locum Tenens Division
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with healthcare facilities to build new business for the company by direct contracts within hospitals. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Responsibilities
- Identify partnership opportunities with healthcare facilities for locum tenens opportunities
- Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand
- Execute new direct contracts with hospital systems across the country
- Maintain and develop existing business
- Manage team of reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years prior industry related healthcare business development / account management experience
- Experience working within the locum tenens industry preferred
- Experience getting direct contracts in place with hospital systems and clinics
- Experience managing small team of individuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
