The Marketing organization is responsible for delivering solutions, experiences, and communications to ensure the best outcomes for clients, driving growth, and safeguarding the Schwab Brand.

Sitting within the Marketing, Planning, & Operations team, the organizational development function focuses on creating a positive employee experience no matter where employees are in their lifecycle for both the Marketing and Retail Experience teams.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Creating project plans, content design and communication schedules and coordinating resources for employees and people leaders in partnership with multiple business partners.
- Representing the voice of the employee, building trust and respect across the organization to deliver focus groups, surveys and opportunities that enhance the experience.
- Manage the new hire pipeline including welcoming new hires, launching onboarding programs and running welcome calls. Acting as an expert to answer questions and nurture their first few months on the teams.
- Challenging the status quo and encouraging programs that enhance the employee experience and address gaps in opportunities.
- Assessing and driving the program and project implementation by directing timely and relevant content materials through our newsletters, internal websites, and other channel management.
- Building relationships across the various Centers of Excellence and utilizing that network for cross-collaboration and interdependency alignment.
- Manage recognition programs that give employees opportunities for a variety of experiences and cultivate a culture of recognizing successes.
- Solving complex problems collaboratively, balancing the space for innovation and skill for operationalizing and executing solutions with high quality.
- Other responsibilities may be added, based on workload and team need : this may include forum management, career development management and new programs introduced this year.
- This is a hybrid position, working out of our Austin, TX location_

**What you have**:
**Required Qualifications**:

- Education: BS/BA degree required.
- Minimum 2-5 years’ leadership, learning & development or organizational development experience within a large corporation or agency.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to connect the dots between communities of practice and the people they serve.
- Ability to understand complex issues, analyze options, and develop strategic plans addressing potential connections and impacts across a large and heavily matrixed enterprises.
- Confident presenting to large audiences and facilitating learning opportunities.
- A highly collaborative working style effectively establishing trust and respect. Able to capitalize on the collective experience and expertise of colleagues to build commitment around vision and priorities.
- Exceptional client focus and a demonstrated ability to cultivate strong relationships inside and outside the organization.
- Strong emotional intelligence/maturity.
- Experience writing content for newsletters, websites and broadcasted messaging.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in a highly regulated financial services environment

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
