The Digital Marketing Specialist will focus on managing the company’s social media presence and optimizing the CRM system across multiple brands under the Tempest family of companies. This individual will ensure consistent and engaging social media content while leveraging CRM data to drive personalized marketing and improve client engagement. The role also includes assisting with event planning and providing support during storm response efforts. The Digital Marketing Specialist reports to the Marketing Manager.


Key Responsibilities:

  • CRM Management
  • Execute the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of the CRM system.
  • Ensure accurate data collection and integration of CRM data with marketing and sales strategies.
  • Train team members on CRM use and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Use CRM data to develop targeted marketing campaigns and personalized communication on behalf of the Tempest family of companies.
  • Generate reports on CRM usage and marketing impact, providing insights to the marketing manager.
  • Social Media Management
  • Manage social media accounts for all brands, ensuring content is consistent, engaging, and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Create and maintain a content calendar to drive brand awareness and engagement across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Monitor social media performance and adjust strategies based on analytics and trends.
  • Research industry trends to stay ahead of social media best practices and tools.
  • Represent the marketing team in collaboration with the Tempest family of companies to develop creative content that aligns with strategic marketing objectives.
  • Data-Driven Marketing
  • Leverage CRM data and social media analytics to create personalized marketing campaigns and communications.
  • Regularly review key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media and CRM, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize performance.
  • Develop and present insights and recommendations based on marketing data analysis.
  • Event Support
  • As necessary, assist in planning and executing company events such as conferences and charitable functions.
  • As necessary, provide logistical support for events, including managing travel, accommodation, and materials when needed.
  • Coordinate swag inventory but focus only on larger events where promotional materials are essential.
  • Storm Role
  • During storm responses, manage urgent communications via social media platforms and CRM tools, ensuring accurate and timely updates for the Tempest family of companies.
  • Remain available for storm-related communications and provide support outside standard hours when necessary.
  • Collaboration & Professional Development
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to align CRM and social media strategies with overall business goals.
  • Participate in regular marketing meetings to discuss strategy, performance, and innovation opportunities.
  • Stay current on CRM and social media best practices, attending workshops and training as needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-3 years of experience managing CRM systems, with a focus on marketing integration and optimization.
  • Experience using CRM data to inform marketing strategies and personalize communications.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and data-driven strategies.
  • Ability to work outside of standard hours during storm responses or urgent projects.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across departments to align CRM and social media strategies.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site event support and content creation.
