Sales Development Manager

Primary Purpose: To meet or exceed the company’s sales goals by identifying potential new customers, working potential customers through the sales cycle, and closing new accounts. This role will collaborate with potential new customers across the US in the off-highway construction, Agricultural, Military, Material Handling, Aerial Solutions market and other OEM manufacturers.
Who are we looking for: The IFH Group is seeking an initiative taking sales professional to fill an immediate position as Sales Development Manager. The successful candidate will have a proven record of developing new accounts and developing strategic plans for landing new business. The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, metals and blueprint reading. The successful candidate will have experience in time management, business travel, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Reports to: VP of Sales and Marketing
Who are we: The IFH group is a leading manufacturer of hydraulic, fuel, and water tanks with manufacturing in Northwest Illinois. We are growing company with competitive advantages in the marketplace looking to deepen our footprint with major OEMs in the agricultural, construction, off road specialty vehicles, boom cranes, end loaders and heavy-duty forklifts as well as additional markets.
Key Functions:
· Grow Top Line Sales from New Accounts
· Track, Identify and add qualified prospects to the sales pipeline.
· Conduct ongoing market research.
· Make and give successful presentations to prospective prospects.
· Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business.
· Utilize existing and innovative technologies to make connections with prospective clients.
· Drive the end-to-end sales process.
· Working with Engineering to develop quotes for customer presentation.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Grow Sales Pipeline from top of funnel down.
· Mine for new business
· Attend Trade Shows to identify new potential customers.
· Work with and develop relationships with Engineering and Purchasing professionals at perspective customers.
· Identify overall spend at prospective clients.
· Gain opportunities to quote on existing products at potential customers and work to participate in upcoming projects.
· Track communications and progress through the sales cycle.
· Present business proposals
· Close sales
Education And Experience:
· Minimum of associates degree, bachelor’s degree a major plus
· Minimum of 10 years sales experience working with large and small OEM’s
· Background in manufacturing, Engineering, blueprint reading, welding.
· CRM
· The ideal Candidate would have hydraulics background or knowledge.
General Requirements
· Ability to Travel
· Overnight Travel
· Home office if remote
· Windows/Office 365/Excel/PDF/CRM
· Availability for Meetings and Training at IFH Group HQ
· ERP knowledge
