Job Description:

  • We seek a dynamic Presales Solution Consultant to play a pivotal role in supporting our customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • You will leverage your deep domain expertise in accounting and financial applications to support the Sales team and drive success by influencing and establishing credibility with C-level Finance and IT leaders for prospective customers.
  • You are passionate about owning custom demo builds, keeping up with our rapid product development, and meticulously documenting customer requirements to serve as the voice of the customer with internal services, product, and engineering teams.
  • Join us as a key player in delivering financial and operational innovation in the SaaS/Software industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team by being the technical bridge between the field and the client
  • Collaborate with the sales team to help craft compelling value propositions that align the client's pain and challenges to client's solution differentiation.
  • Through business and technical discovery sessions, deeply understand customer needs, identify areas of complexity, and collaborate to scope solutions and create plans for success.
  • Work closely with product management, engineering, and services teams to relay client feedback and contribute to the product roadmap.
  • Design and promote tailored solutions to client challenges through various documentation formats such as presentations, process flows, diagrams, and functional demonstrations.
  • Lead the preparation of responses to RFPs/RFIs, creating solution summaries that align our product capabilities with customer business goals.
  • Develop and deliver engaging demonstrations of our solutions, effectively showcasing value and addressing customer expectations.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders, serving as a credible advisor throughout the evaluation process.
  • Emphasize and articulate client's unique value proposition over legacy ERP.

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • 7+ years of hands-on ERP experience, including at least 3 years with one or more of the following: NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday
  • Subject Matter Expert in Finance Administration and Accounting (across all areas such as GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Multi-Company and Consolidations, Multi-Currency)
  • Experience in corporate accounting or finance role a plus
  • Experience implementing ERP for customers with subscription and/or consumption models in the SaaS/Software industry
  • Enthusiastic about new technology and its transformational abilities
  • Ability to be productive in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation
  • Located in the Bay Area
