Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an outstanding Senior Solutions Consultant (Presales) to join our Embedded Platform Team in the US region. Reporting to the Director of Solutions Consulting (Embedded), you will serve as a key advisor and advocate for Workato's Embedded Platform, assisting prospective clients in achieving their business goals. Your role will involve:

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients by demonstrating Workato's value propositions and platform capabilities.
  • Leading the technical diagnosis, prescription, and validation phases of the sales cycle with a consultative approach.
  • Collaborating with Account Executives, Solution Architects, and other team members to promote our platform and drive technical sales processes.
  • Communicating complex business and technical concepts to diverse audiences, including product managers, developers, and executive leadership.
  • Delivering compelling product demonstrations, both in-person and online, to showcase the value of the Workato platform.
  • Conducting business and technical discovery sessions with potential clients to architect tailored solutions.
  • Managing and executing technical workshops and proof of concepts (POCs) effectively.
  • Assisting new clients in realizing their first value on the platform.
  • Overseeing responses to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
  • Gathering field feedback and channeling insights to Product Management for product enhancements.
  • Representing Workato at industry events and conferences.
  • Supporting marketing initiatives by promoting the Workato solution through various channels.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a degree in Computer Science is advantageous.
  • 6-10 years of pre-sales experience in a SaaS environment, with hands-on experience in iPaaS technologies being a significant plus.
  • Proven experience working with enterprise clients and navigating complex sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with automation technologies, integration architecture, web services, APIs, and cloud solutions.
  • Knowledge of programming languages, particularly Ruby, and understanding of web technologies such as HTML and JSON.
  • Experience in front-end development, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
