Responsibilities

  • Source (new) sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, down accounts, and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Work together with Sales, Technical support, Website and Marketing, and Global Sourcing to follow-up on all leads generated in the field, deliver quotes and secure closes.
  • Effectively utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) within ERP and other programs to plan and record sales activities, identify, and log potential sales opportunities and provide key information as needed
  • Build customer relationships, identify customer needs, and provide product, technical and value-added solutions that meet our customer’s needs
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest in the company
  • Communicate with Outside Sales team to build pipeline and close deals


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Reliable, organized, detailed, and focused
  • Industry and sales experienced preferred
  • Knowledge of supply chain systems helpful
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Experience working with CRM
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
