WHY THIS JOB: DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS/FINANCE

Dynamic and growing company with an exceptional culture and team is dedicated to hiring a next-level Director of Operations/Finance with keen accounting chops. This is an integral link between finance and production including managing the KPIs, building out the financial analysis, and providing leadership with key insights into all areas of production costs and profitability. This role reports directly to the Corporate Controller, but also will be the direct business partner to the plant’s General Manager. This is an opportunity to work with a very collaborative & passionate team, and with a cool brand that is very well known.


What You’ll Actually Do:

  • Create dashboards and KPIs for critical operating and cost metrics
  • Build and maintain COGS models and overall cash-planning forecasts
  • Develop proformas for evaluating potential ROI projects and other capital investment opportunities
  • Create sensitivity analysis to identify drivers and predictors of cost changes
  • Analyze production and operational data to identify trends and opportunities to improve results
  • Prepare financial reports and analyze variance to budget
  • AD hoc as assigned


To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

  • A degree in Accounting and/or CMA is a plus
  • 7 - 15 years experience
  • Manufacturing & operations experience is required
  • General accounting functions knowledge – Cost accounting, data analysis, journal entries, etc.
  • Inventory experience & cost accounting experience
  • Be a communicator, collaborator, and connecter of people working toward the same goal paramount
